I am trying to figure out something to write here. Damn difficult it seems.
Here's the start of my auto-biography:
My name is Erik, and I am 20 years of age. I live in Sweden. Or, I live on an island in Sweden's biggest lake. Wow, that sounds so much more awesome in English. It's a small island with 14, 000 inhabitants. I was raised here, and it's great.
I study at Karlstad University, and I love it. My major is system design, and I heard it's a well-paid job. I can't wait to walk around in a suit, drink coffee and finger on my laptop while on a plane to some exotic place. Maybe I got it all wrong though.
I enjoy languages. I speak Swedish and English and a have a brief understandning for some other languages. I do understand Norwegian most of the times, and Danish sometimes. I've studied German, Italian, Spanish and Japanese, but I can't say I know much of either of them.
Right now I am looking to learn French. It's a beautiful and by all means weird language. Seems exciting.I only have one parent. My father passed away on 30 December 2007. It feels like a part of me is missing. It's almost like when you lose a piece from your favorite puzzle, and you know you'll never find it again. My life is an unsolved puzzle.
At least it's something.
The site
This website was originally created so that I could keep in touch with all of my online friends. When I started studying at University, I felt I didn't have as much time chatting to my friends as I used to. Therefore I thought I'd create a website with a blog so at least they could see what I was up to in my life.
The site is also an excellence way for me to practice PHP scripting. I haven't spent as much time as I should have on it, but I am in no hurry. Every once in a while I will write a small script that I'll use for this site.

virtualErik.com is best viewed with Mozilla FireFox. Actually, it's viewed pretty darn good in all browsers but Internet Explorer 7 and earlier.
